Growing up I learned the woodworking basics from my Dad helping him with small projects around the house and some DIY ideas.  While in college I worked at a crating company actually building pallets and crates,  I was able to gain more experience and knowledge from my co-workers. 

      In 2016 I had the idea of building pallet furniture and other pallet ideas that I saw online, and that is where the name "Palmetto Pallet" came from.  Even though I haven't used a pallet for lumber material in many years, the logo was a hit amongst friends and the name stuck.   I have been mostly self-taught since I started this business with some tips from my Dad and other local craftsmen. 

      I started out slow with a simple outdoor grilling table, a few basic night stands, and the outdoor wooden coolers.  With the completion of every project, my skills developed more and more and I was able to take on larger and more difficult projects.  Over the years I have built close to 100 custom pieces ranging from large dining tables to dog kennels to condiment caddies for a local restaurant. 

      In 2022, I was fortunate enough to build a new workshop for myself.  With this larger space I am now able to have a faster turn around time and get more projects out of the door for my much appreciated customers.
